Happy Place Sportfishing caters to small groups of people (up to six) looking for an unforgettable fishing experience on Lake Michigan out of Racine, Wisconsin. 

Magic Carpet Ride and your Captain

Magic Carpet Ride is a Cruiser Chateau Vee 338 (built in Wisconsin) with plenty of room for your group.  We pride ourselves in not only meeting but exceeding the United States Coast Guard Regulations and Safety Requirements.  Your Safety is our top priority while offshore, and your boat and Captain are fully insured.  For your comfort, there is a private head (bathroom) as well as space inside the cabin to get out of the weather if desired.   

She is equipped with chart plotters/GPS navigational instruments, marine radios, electric downriggers, sonar, radar, speed/temp sensor, and more rods, reels, and tackle than we could ever use in a single trip. 

Captain Pete has been fishing since he could walk and has spent over 30 years chasing salmon and trout on Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.  While not on the water, he is a classically trained chef working in the food industry and will be happy to share salmon and trout cooking recommendations if you have questions.
